Published during the 2024 uprisings in Bangladesh, I was distracted when A Screen in the Crowd came out, narrating earlier moments of protest, digitally enabled crowds, and the large public screen. Then Routledge Companion to Asian Cinemas won the Aruna Vasudev Award for Best Book on Asia! 🎉
