pokémon scarlet replay/shiny team i think scvi are basically cemented as top tier pokémon games for me. the dex selection is excellent, the way it shakes up the formula is familiar but refreshing, and the final story sequence is unmatched. also sw2 clears up any grievances i may have had. 100/100

ffxiv dawntrail 7.0-7.56 i need people to understand that to get to a new threat we need to set up first. the stakes were relatively low in 7.0, but now we're in a position to have a new threat, to stop a worlds ending event from occurring without sacrifice. anyways i'm excited for evercold 99/100

splatoon raiders this game's loop is dangerous if you have collector's brainworms like me. genuinely i always love the single player splatoon efforts and this is above and beyond the best one. now to grind and play multiplayer with friendos~ 100/100

dragon quest ix: sentinels of the starry skies replay one of my fav games of all time, honestly i think only xenoblade x beats it. the vocation system is one of my favorite things to fuck around with, the story isn't deep, but honestly it's serviceable and has nice moments. postgame time~ 100/100

pokémon violet the indigo disk i finally managed to beat this... it's neato. the school stuff is cool, but the revisit into area zero is not as strong as the base game visit, but it makes up for it by paralleling our friend's archetypes and twisting them to be the EVIL area zero trek team. 100/100

ffxiv dawntrail echoes of vana'diel how the fuck are they making me nostalgic for a game i have little connection or investment in. very fun fights and it's really cool to see XI's interpretation of enemies that we've faced before in XIV without having to play XI... maybe i should play XI. 99/100

ffxiv dawntrail patch 7.5 the fights were really fucking fun, like the trial had me yo'ing and clapping. this has cemented that DT is the ARR of this new arc, spent the .0 wrapping up certain ends while showing what's possible and the patch is the set up... time is a circle~ overall good! 100/100

superman: the new aventures (superman 64) ra mastery i enjoy playing this game for some god awful reason. it's really bad, forced to release to recoup any of their dev cost, and just not fun at some points. but i can't get myself to hate it. however the emulation of it is god awful ugh. 67/100

pokémon rumble - weekend edition ra mastery a much more enjoyable experience, mostly because EX and GX have had their roll costs modified to the point that it's an infinite money machine to get new mons. ex4 is still tough but having more varied options was fun! thank you absolblogspokemon! 96/100

monster hunter stories 2: wings of ruin okay so they took the first game, right, and improved the gameplay tenfold. not the deepest system for a turn based rpg by any means but still this is a bump up from the previous game. the story and monster selection are also excellent. 100/100

011

mimi | media zone @media.mimickrii.com · 23/02/2026
