People are upset with the protest inside the MN church. They would be even more upset if Jesus came in and looked into the hearts of those present. He would make everyone in the room uncomfortable with how much he wants to change. Church, may we invite him in to confront us all.

Watching the Anaheim Ducks over the last 16 games has been hard. I've been to at least 5 of those games live. Horrible stat of the day: They've allowed an empty net goal in the last 4 games on a row and in 11 games this year. It may not be a good strategy anymore.

So i read all the Left Behind books when they came out. One of the"signs of the anti-Christ" was that he was going to have a head injury and then sign a peace treaty with Israel. I haven't heard that description in a while.

Galatians 3:28 says that there is neither slave or free, male or female, Greek or Jew in the church. All inequity caused by sin have been equalized as we are one in Christ. So why are we so adamant that the penalty of sin in Genesis 3 continues with inequality? Our oneness and unity overcomes sin.

I saw recently a bunch of posts about no one saying anything about gun control when Trump was shot. It isn't true, as Biden himself said we need to do sometime about guns after the shooting. Let no one say no one asked for something to be done with the Kirk shooting because something must be done.

I had a friend, a fellow umpire, who passed yesterday in a motorcycle crash. As more friends pass, each one brings up memories of previous deaths, my umpire friend who passed a year ago, the husband of a coworker who died in a motorcycle crash... I don't want to forget them but remembering is hard.

Now that PRIDE month is done, I now declare July ACE Awareness month. One of my kids identifies as ACE so I want to know more about it, thus my wanted awareness of it. Interestingly, ACE is short for asexual, which brings into question the idea that all LGBTQIA+ is about hyper-sexualization.

I'm old enough to remember when Dr Pepper was lambasted about omitting the words, "Under God" on their drink label because they were anti-God apparently. What is sad now is that group which went ballistic is happy to omit the words, "For All" because Liberty and Justice is for whom they deem worthy.

It's amazing the amount of posts I am seeing on Sports teams Pride posts by "fans" who wish people a "Happy Veteran's Month." May is Military Appreciation Month. November is Veterans Appreciation Month. It's almost like they don't care about veterans until they can use them against people they hate.

My kid and I went to a LBGTQ+ fair on Saturday which was very well put together. Throughout the week, temperatures were in the low 60's with rain on Monday to about 85 on Friday. Saturday was 100 degrees. We stayed for a bit but had to go because we were both dehydrating. Wish I could have stayed.

When we bought season passes to Knotts in August of last year, I tried the test seat for Accelerator and I didn't fit. The light remained red. My goal for this year was to be able to ride it before December 2025. Every time we have visited, I've tried the seat and always red. Here's today:

One of the responses I got about due process and the Hispanics being shipped to El Salvador without trial. I'm dumbfounded. Is this saying that black people should have just shut up and took it during the Civil rights movement or women should shut up and take it when r*ped?

I don’t understand how if we have not been given a place of leadership or authority in the administration or
law enforcement, we think it’s our business to sit back and criticize what we don’t understand and think it matters.
The people who make a difference are the ones doing their jobs and the ones praying for the ones who are doing their jobs. You have no control over what’s going on to change it one way or another unless you are personally involved or you can move the heart of God through your powerful prayers. Anything else is simply getting in the way.

I shared this picture on Facebook and have had the hardiest discussion about due process I've had anywhere. Arguments against have included the Secret Service has files we don't know about that convicts these men and if it walks like a duck, it's a duck. Maybe I'll make a highlight reel for here.

Imagine an athlete like Jesse Owens at the 2028 LA Olympics, let's say someone Chinese, who comes and wins a gold medal. At this point, I'm not sure ICE wouldn't come to the podium and arrest the athlete because Trump is mad the US didn't win.
