Some of it is just tropes/similar subject matter but there were chunks of the Mystery Labyrinths’ aesthetic that gave me Paradise Killer flashbacks, so that was a nice vibe

Completed Master Detective Archives: Rain Code this weekend. It’s still very much in the Danganronpa vein. Gameplay felt a bit more padded in areas. IMO it’s the most visually interesting Kodaka game - the cyberpunk aesthetic is executed well but the Mystery Labyrinth segments _really_ showed out.
