Also, despite X's warning not to create new accounts, we encountered a few examples of users who carried on tweeting on their alt, or created a new account that didn't get banned. Therefore I wouldn't be too worried about doing that, so long as I changed browsers first.

In June we came to suspect connections with Firefox (high confidence), UBlock Origin (medium confidence), and interacting with soon-to-be-banned accounts (low confidence). So after my 2 suspensions, I quit Firefox & UBO. @jean-leon.bsky.social was unsuspended after ~20 appeals, so don't give up!

buy those fake hollow hardcover books that restaurants decorate with. then sequester smaller paperback books inside of them. but the paperbacks are actually printed compilations of Amazon webpages retailing fake books. and you did read those, of course - to ensure that you bought quality fake books

I had in mind e.g. a rogue models unit reporting to the NSA Director, who would then transmit their requests for more authority & resources to Congress. It might be something the NSA Director wants anyway and would *eventually* get Congress to fund. But it could be jumpstarted in this media moment.

CSET may advocate for expanding purview to handling AI risk, but creating an agency confirms that purview. White House: "Handling this risk is your new responsibility. Here are your tools." Officials: "But these tools are too weak to handle that risk!" Thus the officials become focused & motivated.

I don't know much about CSET. My model is: officials see actions as inside/outside their purview. Once they see an action as inside their purview, they continuously lobby Congress for money & authority to better handle it. But first, something exogenous needs to move that action into their purview.
