Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 10/11/2025Harlequin/Black Tree figures? Can’t wait to see these 110
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 03/11/20251984 Citadel Man At Arms (who happens to also be not so coincidentally a 15th century knight). Pretty sure this was Citadels best selling range for a couple of years. Still available from Wargames Foundry. #oldhammer #citadelminiatures #warhammer 2586
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 18/10/2025I still have a lot of these! Was also around the same age when I discovered this particular madness 0182
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 13/09/2025Been thinking about this period a lot recently. I think the impact of this runs across all areas of production at that time, including miniatures and the evolution of the ‘Eavy Metal style. 010
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 26/08/2025Although in a confused way these went the other way :) 130
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 25/08/2025Stunning work on a classic! I’ve a good few ‘real’ Brets from the period too. The whole range was beautiful IMO 010
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 25/08/2025Thanks! Exactly. I think he was originally sculpted for that range, as were a lot of the others (some of the same dollies). Likely ended up at Foundry during Bryan’s exit. Those late 3rd Brets clearly lacked some variety (not to mention the super quick paint jobs the studio did for White Dwarf). 110
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 25/08/2025Reclaiming Foundry 100 Years War for the Lady (which is where a lot of these figures started in the first place). Beautiful figures. 212810
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 17/08/2025Status Wastedhead - Citadel Chaos Dwarf 1987. Love these wee lunatics. #oldhammer #warhammer 09914
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 29/07/2025Chaos warrior, halfling and wizard. I ended up with those figures and I think all through this. 110
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Good grief. The later down and out with the beard and no hat perhaps? 120
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 24/05/2025Amazing. Pretty sure the writer didn’t know where that comment was going to go and just rode it out to the bitter end. Got to admire that devil may care attitude in some ways … The video itself was class! 000
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 17/05/2025Yes! 100% Highly recommend The Stuff of Legends website and Collecting Citadel Miniatures Wiki if you’d like more info on these. Both goldmines of info 130
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 17/05/2025Those look like older C-series I think. These are them www.wargamesfoundry.com/collections/...wargamesfoundry.comHundred Years War 1337 - 1453Sculpted by Alan & Michael Perry. From Mounted knights to Medieval Peasants, start wargaming the Hundred Years War now! 120
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 17/05/2025Founded by Brian Ansell of Citadel Miniatures fame, and now run by his family. A lot of those ranges switched to Foundry when he sold up. Highly recommend the Hundred Years War Perry range - some rare ex Bretonnian sculpts in there (ghosts of their slotta tabs on some of the castings …) 020
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 05/05/2025Do it! Lots of great little details once you start on it with a brush 010

Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 24/02/2025Oldest Oldhammer! Citadel CO1 Fighter from 1983. So much creativity (and weirdness) in this range. Strong Dark Souls vibes with this guy. #oldhammer #warhammer #citadel 87910

Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 27/11/2024Yeah, those are brilliant. Especially love the character of the doctor but figures carrying torches give me brain-ache. Tie myself in knots whether to do osl or not … then other figures in the group should be lit … meltdown 000
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 27/11/2024I definitely have a weakness for anything Prussian … 110
Mechanicae @mechanicae.bsky.social · 27/11/2024Got the Kindle version of Silver Bayonet and planning to upgrade to hard copy and dig into that for a while. The new Spanish/Iberian factions were my tipping point. 110
