Every time somebody complains about it, she has to change it's spot.

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

And I thought I couldn't have been more satisfied after the Gouf Ignited...it looks glorious

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Yeeeees. Frigging love how well it contrasts with her while still looking very sober (well for someone in CE at least xD)

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Imma be praying Canada gets it by proximity ^^"

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I think this is the one way I can actually like both Penelope and XI xD

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Since most sleeves art end up being or are originally from a card, I'm quite curious what the Cagalli one will be. (Since Ple is most likely her AA pilot card)

The LGS which gave us a good deal on all 4 decks + deck box got screwed over by shipping. They delivered their stock to the competing LGS who opened their stuff and thus it has to be returned (cause well, both owners hate each other). Our event is thus cancelled tonight -_-.

Managed to get my second show of resolve at the GCG anniversary but I still feel bad cause my one friend still got 5th right behind me TT Still can't help but be happy. One event left and it's in a month.

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I'm so frigging happy I managed to go top 4 to get that Lacus Show of Resolve but I also feel bad cause I got matched and beat my good friend and he got 5th in the end TT

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Looking at the Ukiyo-E entry grades, I think it's the first time I wanna buy a kit more for the box than for the model... ...I mean look at this thing.

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Peter Cullen's loss is such a gut punch this morning, new part of my childhood dying. Even back when I loved marvel/dc, he was the voice of the one character I considered a childhood hero, who I felt inspired by and loved most if not all iterations one way or another. RIP and thx for everything TT.

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I can hear half the gundam fanbase crying about that MGEX announcement XD. Like I can understand for such a line, it sucks to barely go for anything new. But I'm still gonna have to bleed my wallet over it ^^".

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Listen, as a TCG player I realize the impact S Freedom has on the meta and understand that it might be a problem how overplayed it is... Nonetheless it is the unit I wanted to play the most since the game started and I'm just happy being able to play full Kira/Orb so no remorse

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Will be reasonable and not pray for Hi-Nu or even MG Strike Freedom type 2 and instead just hope we can finally get MGs of the 00 S2 missing Gundams. That and a color separated archangel/millennium model.

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Will look forward to it! I'm very biased towards Artorias and most saberfaces (especially OG/Logres and Lancer) but that might be quite redundant. Purely fate wise, I do think Im partial to Musashi, most Nobus and Barghest xD.

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

My loot from otakuthon. Thanks @42wv.bsky.social for such good rallies and merch as always.(My wallets keeps bleeding cause you keep getting into franchise I'm into ><) Also thanks to @atelierkawaii613 for having the only KiraRaku charm I could find at the con.

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Very happy you ended up starting this ^^ Hope you enjoy the ride. Definitely has some of my favorite moments in a mecha anime.

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Okay I still feel the Helix is really overdetailed for a Gundam but as a kit I actually really dig it. Zero Gundam I just don't vibe with its general design and colors tho that Red version looks better from a distance.

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Tho the concept of aliens itself has been used, having it as an initial setting does imo give it a novel enough spin, with humanity's current state in it opening the door for a different kind of dynamic hopefully. (I have not read Gundam Eight from a glance I admit it could also go that route)

020

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Well, anniversary is coming up so I suppose it'll be the right time to announce an actual new original work. That or like another comment said, just make a new Build Series that can make me forget Build Metaverse. (Still waiting on that Fighters/Try world championship TT)

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

RG Force Impulse Gundam Was happy to get the OG color kit. Build experience was mostly nice tho I really dislike the way they separated the forearm parts cause it just feels like it won't ever fit cleanly in. Love tho that it's sturdy enough to pose with the backpack.

052

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

MG Slash Zaku Phantom One of the main P-Bandai kits I wanted. Build was straightforward and everything felt into to place so well. The side-shields and gatling add such a great bulk and it still manages to hold to its wep and hold a pose pretty good. Damn I love Seed Zakus.

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

On one end, I'm quite happy for GCG Sps they chose and I won't complain cause I love and need that Kira and Lacus Ex ressource. (WHY NO MARINA FOR SETSUNA THO) Tho it's a tad sad for Kira to get his 5th AA card when Shinn only has the one, tho he is recent and will surely get one later.

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

What better way to clear dark thought from their other site than to restart posting kits. Liber Holy Knight Only 30MF I bought and pretty satisfied with what I got. All those armor plates make it look so good to panel line and it moves and holds things pretty well. Less fan of the plastic it uses.

011

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

The gamestop bargain 5$ bin was pretty alright for Gundam kits this time around. Grabbed both cross SDs, Justice Knight, Buster and a dupes Freedom for parts. Today was a good day xD.

011

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

It's what keeps annoying me when it comes to the critics of the both of them, especially after GSF. People literally just judge the struggle externally or define them by what the plot makes them, which the story itself already frames as being a wrongful premise to begin with, very little subtlety

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Got my baby Strike Freedom LR+ in the event packs let's gooo.

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

I'm gonna be fighting so hard to try to get it TT

020

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

Damn, that Suletta SP card is gonna go up like crazy... Meanwhile I'm screwed with LR++ Strike Freedom and that Lacus Ex base in the set TT

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Was low on rolls and still managed to get both Justice and Cagalli ship them within 30 let's gooo

020

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Late to the party buuut : Strike Freedom type II (Really limiting myself here XD) Todesritter Infinite Justice Hi-V (sorry XD) Seravee Transcient Jesta Lfrith Jiu Bael Slash Zaku Phantom

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

I may have made some impulse purchases. But it was the main PG I wanted to buy so when it got a low enough sale I couldn't resist. (Least till they either release a new Freedom or update the old one)

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

Praying for you success. I was so happy there were so mecha artist last year TT

110

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

I may or may not have felt very emotional looking at that Gundam 50th video...Damn you bandai TT

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

Tho thematically relevant, I guess it's natural to point to the writer when scenes leave a sour taste. Thinking back on 9 years ago. Only thing I can dig out of my 20y brain at the time is I thought of Gaelio as a frontstabber and Mcgillis as a backstabber so the latter would be worst in my book

110

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 10/05/2026

Well, opted to play P/W Destiny for the GCG regionals against my better judgment (and also cause I had some cards still on the way for my main option) Wish me luck

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 28/04/2026

Congrats! Will for sure come for both those eventual rallies xD.

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

Kinda felt bad because I won both of my local GCG GD04 events and the prizing on the second was quite generous...and I ended up just getting all the hits from the box opened for prizing BUT I'M SO HAPPY I GOT THE SP STRIKE AT LAST.

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 11/04/2026

At the New World final fantasy concert with some friends. Wish me luck!

120

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

Finally received my 86 anniversary merch. It looks so frigging nice TT *Don't mind the Outis standee I really liked the design xD

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

Quite satisfied with that result...mostly. (Cause damn, is this both a flex but also a curse for Freedom to have been 3 entries cause it might have taken it all as one XD)

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

My baby had to be split in 3 entries to give everyone a chance XD. (Cause damn would have everything converged on it if it was a single entry XD)

010

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

Lost the final for the ST09 event against my friend. I'm happy for him but I really wanted that Strike Rouge base TT. (He probly gonna sell it if it gets inflated to hell, which is likely) I guess technically if I really want it, there's some listings for the chinese version.

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

I'm pretty sure those cards in AA will also be pretty fine for a certain crowd XD in the GCG

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

I frigging know this damn GCG card in alternate is gonna sell for a good chunk

001

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

They frigging knew what they were doing putting the Strike Rouge as the winner promo goddammit... I guess the rest of the Zaft units and Build Strike should end up in the lucky prize pack...but damn. Now I gotta pray it doesn't inflate too much if I don't manage to win it.

000

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 02/02/2026

Even destiny wise, I'd have taken the Saviour first XD

020

Origen @mechacritic.bsky.social · 02/02/2026

Frigging knew the moment I saw what was added to the kit, you'd have something to say about it XDDD.
