Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 26/07/2026John Romita Jr drew a Sentinel with detachable hands, connected only by cables, in Uncanny x-men 202 back in 85/86. Whoever complained didn't know what they were talking about. 0301
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 25/06/2026Was a big fan of this comic. Loved Harrison Fong's art on this and Robotech Masters. Learned recently about how Tim Eldred finished the story. The published and unpublished art is available on his website ArtVault. Seeing the art for the second series led me to do some fan art. 261
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 14/04/2026Here we go. I have 13 of 22 pages of the 1st issue completed. Setting a goal for myself of having most if not all 4 issues done by Sept/Oct. Below is a fun little "house ad" Seen here is Census, Discount, Hongo and Miko. 000

Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 28/01/2026Wow, I've never had someone be inspired by my art in such a way. This is awesome. I have much more in the works. 110
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 09/11/2025More images from a reimagining of Robotech II The Sentinels. A VF that fits between the VF1 Valkyrie and VF6 Alpha. A new enemy. Miriya and Max. SDF-3 010
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 11/10/2025So the Ikazuchi is a "Carrier". Here is an attempt to bring some more classic Carrier elements to it's design. Elevators and blast deflectors on top. For non veritech aircraft if the carrier is ever in atmosphere. Plus the lifts are good for bringing small shuttles inside. 100
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 21/09/2025Mockup of what it might look like if @MECHA from @darkhorse.com got a collected released. After 6 issues, only 4 more chapters were released under the anthology Mayhem. The remainder was laid out by Tim Eldred but not finished. Available on his website. 210
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 20/09/2025Anyone remember the comic MECHA, from Dark Horse? By Randy Stradley, Mike Richardson, Harrison Fong and later Tim Eldred. 120
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 16/03/2025Double page spread of all the Southern Cross Battloids. Done in the style of the Handbook to the Marvel Universe comics. 130
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 09/03/2025Progress on current WIP. Double page spread of Southern Cross mechs. 010
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 19/01/2025Post Invid War. I guess it would be called the 2nd Reconstruction? 000
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 14/01/2025Awesome to see this. Thank you for the acknowledgement! Here is the one you referenced. 110
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 12/12/2024Ask them what their 2nd or 3rd choice is. It may be telling. It may be the best that they saw, but there may be a lot that they still have not seen. 130
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 11/12/2024Auroran / AJAX / AJAC. I combined some separate line arts to make a new 3/4 view. 042
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 07/12/2024Same. When I was, like 5 years old, I was obsessed with wearing a black leather looking jacket that has a fur collar. Just because I thought I looked like Hawk when wearing it. 000
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 07/12/2024Thank you. I was an adult when this came out and I was like "what, his name is funny? What am I missing?" 000
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 05/12/2024In progress for Army of the Southern Cross Marsh Squad 010
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 02/12/2024Was definitely thinking of the Heidi of the Alps anime for inspiration. 010
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 02/12/2024ASC MOS Satyr A couple years ago I started doing a drawing for each of the Southern Cross Battloids. I did 5 of the 8 and then took a break. Resumed with the Mountain Squad Satyr/Satyros. Still need to do the Marsh and Forest Squads. Colors used from unproduced prototype model. 110
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 30/11/2024Finally took a pass at a cleaned up version of the dropship from Rolling Thunder. It looks different from every angle . Pretty sure Fred Perry was just drawing it all cool as he wanted in each panel. 032
Mechaban @mechaban.bsky.social · 25/11/2024Destroid Boxer. Originally I wasn't so hot on this Destroid, as it seems to be an angry egg. But it's grown on me. I can picture this guy high speed boosting into a swarm of Invid and just going full gorilla mode. 000
