After a fantastic conference in Montpellier with @mebconf.bsky.social, where we shared #MIRECLIM results, we’re back in the field on our peatlands. Blooming cottongrass, cranberries, and stunning peatland views remind us why we love this work. And pesticide-free cereal field, simply beautiful!

Thank you so much to @mebconf.bsky.social for another fantastic #microclimate #conference week, this time in beautiful Montpellier! Such good views, talks, food, and just the amazing @mebnetwork.bsky.social community in general. So grateful for working with such great colleagues!

The enormous canyon of the Cirque de Navarcelle in Southern France. The bottom of the canyon stays cooler during the day and warmer at nighttime than the surrounding plateau, creating an oasis of buffered, moist microclimate amidst the surrounding drylands of the Garrigue.
