I love it! It feels familiar when I look at it because I played a game in the 1980s called Starflight! The ship used by the player had a long neck design similar to yours. The neck could attach up to about 20 cargo pods to fill with fuel and trading goods. Good stuff!!

1. When you grow frustrated with the use of the terms, 'pandemic' and 'endemic' in the context of Covid-19, remember they are linguistic codes.

'Pandemic' signals, 'we have to do something about it',

whereas 'endemic' signals 'we can't do anything about it'.

2. In short, these terms are essentially meaningless in their traditional context now, but rather signal the approach to Covid-19 by individuals, public health departments, and governments.

3. This, of course, explains why the phrase, 'it's endemic now' is often used to justify taking no action to prevent infection - which makes no sense *unless you see the term as a code*.

My advice: don't be concerned with the codes, and continue to avoid infection.
