In this age of online living, people underestimate the importance of having face to face interactions with their local communities. Including their local leadership, civil servants, in law enforcement. Simple, human interactions. I think local power is the greatest power we have.

Sometimes I wonder why I can't sleep. Then I remember that American society is breaking down due to the inevitable collapse of a government that has become so brazenly corrupt, we're essentially all orphans who can no longer in good conscience trust any of our leadership and likely have no future.

The United States government works for the American people. If massive numbers of Americans are unhappy with the government's policies or actions, then the American people have spoken and it is the government's job to pivot and find a better way to serve its people. It really is that simple.
