👀 Does Bunsen have a crush on Lucy or does she just look a lot like 🪽Angel-Kahlan🪽 that he's confused?!? 😳 How does Lucy feel about this while she's adjusting to her new home? 🙄It's possible Bunsen is also sensing that Lucy needs a little more support right now. 💞

(Definitely closer to the Bay!)

(I lived in Cupertino/Sunnyvale for 30 yrs and never realized how much cooler it was because it was so close to the Bay. The night breeze was fantastic for cooling the home. The heat here is more stubborn.)

120

(I'm in the South Bay, but probably farther south than you & closer to the foothills. It was 100F at 2p & now 90F. Like yesterday, it's cooling faster than forecast. I'll take it!)

120

(Yeah, unless it's hot again tomorrow like today, then it's supposed to inch its way down over the next 6 days.)

(You can say that again! 😱)

If I had named them, they would be called "Blue-footed beauties"!!! Look at those gorgeous turquoise tootsies 😍 ! They probably disappear in the turquoise water. 🤗

Today, Sunday 10.04.2026 it was supposed to be high of 97F. Then, they increased it to 98F. Currently, when it's supposed to be 93F, it's 100F!!! 😩 That's 8F hotter than predicated for this hour!

Color screenshot with white background showing expected high at 1:00pm is 92F Mostly Cloudy; 2:00pm 93F; 3pm 95F. The temperature just before 2p is 8F hotter than expected.

😂 Just so you all know...I now live in 'Beakerifornia'. Our country needed a stable leader, so Beaker the #GoldenRetriever stepped up! Your state name has changed, too, so check the official map below for more info. 😂 #Dogs #DogsOfBluesky #DogSky #Cats #CatsOfBluesky #CatSky #TrustYourPet

Color map of The United States of Beaker: All United. All Beaker. The colorful map of the former USA is on a beige background with a color photo of Beaker the Golden Retriever wearing a Golden Crown while smiling at the camera. Overlaid the photo is a circle with the words: No work. More Walks. More Treats. plus a paw print. Clearly, this message was approved by Beaker.

All the states have been renamed to have all or part of Beaker's name in them.

California is now Beakerifornia.
New York is Beak York.
Texas is Beakeras.
Alaska is Beakaska.
Colorado is Beakerado.
...and so on.

(Yes, what a needed relief! 😅 Here, it only dropped 3F inside the house with all the windows open at night, even though it was 60F outside when I woke up. Little wind to bring the cool into the house. Thank goodness it is overcast this morning!)

040

(Ohhh 🥵 so sorry! It got to 100F here yesterday because we're at the confluence of the foothills where heat rises. I hope it at least got into the 70s F for you in the wee hours of the morning.)

*The reason not all shelters are dirty is that part of living there requires residents to help with chores. Everyone does something & they rotate chores. The shelter, therefore, is less dirty as it gets cleaned daily. At these shelters, you have the same bed each night, so not sharing mattresses.

Yes, armory shelters (warehouses w/cots on the floor) can be dangerous for women & children. If you've lost housing, check w/your County to find shelters for Women & Children. Not all are dirty. Being inside during bad weather can also save you/your children's lives. www.youtube.com/shorts/cuI8a...
