THEN vs. NOW: Crisfield Public Library The Lilyan Stratton Corbin Memorial Public Library opened in Crisfield in 1930. The new Crisfield Public Library opened a few blocks away in 2016 thanks to $5.4 million from MSLA's County Library Capital Grant Program. Check them out on your next visit!

Our 2026 Summer Reading Road Trip continued last week with a visit to the @aacpl.bsky.social Eastport-Annapolis Neck Library, where 140 customers gathered to crack "dinosaur eggs," craft terrariums, paint volcanoes, and make buttons and magnets in their quest to Unearth a Story.

Many thanks to Calvert Library - Twin Beaches for hosting the Maryland State Library Board earlier this month! The branch was completed in 2024 with funding from the Maryland State Library Agency's County Library Capital Grant Program. Since opening, the branch has welcomed more than 235K visitors.
