Well, if there's one thing that Trump speech taught me, it's that there are a lot of people on this site with untreated anxiety disorders that they should probably talk to a medical professional about.

A bit of a twofer today, featuring both a logo and uniform redesign! Augustana is one of the newest and smallest D1 hockey schools, playing in only its second season at the top level. From a jersey standpoint, my biggest goal was to differentiate them from Michigan. #Vikings #NCAA #hockey #art
A jersey and logo design layout broken up into three panels. The top left navy blue panel features a scowling viking head logo. The viking has white skin with a large yellow two pointed beard and flowing yellow hair, and is wearing a silver helmet with horns on both sides. The left side of the logo is in shadow, leaving the hair, helmet, and part of the viking's face drawn navy blue.

The bottom left panel is yellow and features the word Augustana in a cursive script font with a tail written in white with a navy blue outline.

The right panel features two jerseys. The top white jersey features the Augustana script in navy blue with white and yellow outlines. Below this script is a small number 85 with the same color pattern. The sleeves, hem, collar, and socks feature three separated stripes on a blue base (the sleeves are entirely blue up to the shoulder yoke, while the socks and hem are blue up to just above the top stripe). These stripes are, from top to bottom Yellow-yellow-White. The back jersey number and name are blue with white and yellow outlines, while the sleeves are white with blue and yellow outlines. The shoulder yoke features the viking head logo on both sides. The pants, helmet, and gloves are all navy blue.

The bottom away jersey is navy blue and features the same general design. However, the blue backing sleeves, hem, collar, and socks now blends into the base of the jersey. Because of this change, the front word mark, number, back number, and name are now white with blue and yellow outlines. The hockey pants, helmet, and gloves all remain navy blue.

Back to alphabetical order with the final service academy in D1 hockey, the Army Black Knights. To me, Army's aesthetic is best when its kept clean and simple. No camo, dirt texture, or stencil numbers here, just a classic uniform. #BeatNavy #Army #hockey #NCAA #Art
A jersey and logo design layout broken up into two panels. The left panel is black and features a black shield outlined in gold with a gold spartan helmet with a sword behind it above a gold star, a stylized version of the design of the US Military Academy coat of arms.

The right panel features two jerseys. The top white jersey features the logo on the chest. The sleeve, hem and white socks all feature a black-gold-black triple stripe and the sleeves include black cuff stripes. The shoulder yokes are plain black with a white collar. The back and sleeve numbers are black with thin gold outlines. The hockey pants are black with the logo on the right pant leg (viewer's left) with a single gold stripe on the side of each leg. The helmet matches the team's historic plain gold football helmets.

The bottom away jersey is black and features the same logo and striping patterns. However, because these stripes are on a black background, they appear as just a single gold stripe on the hem, sleeves, and socks, while the cuff stripe disappears. The shoulder yoke, as well as the back and sleeve numbers and letters are all plain gold. The helmet and hockey pants are unchanged from the home jersey.

Switching it up for Day 6 and going with the #Canisius Griffins of Atlantic Hockey! I absolutely love the team's new/old skating Griffin logo, and I think the old school logo goes great with an old school Montreal chest stripe. Then I went with the old yellow at home look to round it all out.
A jersey and logo design layout broken up into two panels. The navy blue left panel features a yellow anthropomorphic griffin facing to the right, wearing a blue hockey jersey and skates, in the process of shooting a puck.

The right panel features two jerseys. The top yellow home jersey features the logo on the chest in front of a thick navy blue chest stripe with two small white outlines on top and bottom. This stripe is repeated on the sleeves and socks (which are also yellow), and the top half is featured on the hem. The back features a white number with navy outlines on top of the chest stripe that wraps around the back. Above this is Canisius also in white with a blue outline. The collar is a simple navy blue contrasting collar. The helmet, gloves, and hockey pants are navy blue, and the navy pants feature Canisius's other griffin logo.

The away jersey on bottom features the same design but flips the navy blue and yellow, so the chest/sleeve/hem/sock stripes are now yellow with white strokes on a blue background and the contrasting collar is now yellow. The numbers and letters maintain the white number/ blue stroke design making the stroke invisible in certain places. The helmet, gloves, and hockey pants remain navy blue.

Day 5 of my #NCAA D1 #hockey series brings us to the Arizona State #SunDevils! Maroon, Yellow, Copper, and Black all appear to create a sunset inspired striping pattern accompanied by the classic ASU sun and Sparky (who's now skating!) logos. #ASU #ForksUp #Sparky #NCHC #art
A jersey and logo design layout broken up into three panels. On the left are two panels stacked top to bottom. The top panel is maroon and features the Arizona State sparky logo, a grinning cartoon maroon and yellow devil with white eyes and mouth that is running and carrying a hockey stick with a pitchfork on top. The bottom panel is black and features a 2D drawing of a maroon sun with the letters ASU in white. the sun is outlined in copper and yellow creating a maroon, orange, and yellow gradient.

The right panel has two jerseys. On top, the white home jersey features the Sparky logo on the chest beneath a maroon captain's patch outlined in orange and yellow. The sleeves and socks feature angled stripes creating an upward facing chevron. The top two stripes are yellow and copper while the bottom stripe is maroon extending to the cuffs of the sleeves. The hem stripe keeps the same stripe design, but flips so that the front of the jersey features a downward facing chevron. The collar features this same stripe pattern, but the maroon stripe is of equal width as the others. The sleeves and back feature the number 63 and a nameplate that reads "Devils" in maroon outlined in copper and yellow. The shoulders feature the ASU logo described above. The gloves and hockey pants are maroon with a white helmet.

The away jersey features the same design but replaces all white fabric with black. All equipment is the same color expect the helmet, which replaces the white helmet with maroon.

Can't imagine there's much of an #ncaa #hockey scene here, but I redesigned every single D1 hockey team's jerseys (and a bunch of #logos), so I might as well show them off. First up alphabetically, one of two service academies in college hockey, the #AirForce Falcons!
A jersey and logo design layout broken up into two panels. The left panel is royal blue and features a logo for the US Air Force Academy. The logo is a silver star outlined in white inside a blue circle also outlined in white, with the points of the star connecting to the outline of the circle. Below it is "AIR FORCE" in the block font inspired by fonts found on air force jets.

The right panel featured two jerseys. On top, the white home jersey features AIR FORCE on the chest above a number (a traditional arrangement in college hockey) in blue with silver outlines. Above the word mark to the right (viewer's left) is a concept logo for Atlantic Hockey, the team's conference. The back of the jersey features the same number with Falcons above it taking the place of a player name. The hem, sleeves, and socks feature, from top to bottom, a: thin blue, thin silver, thin white, thick blue striping pattern. This pattern is mimicked and mirrored on the shoulder yokes placing the thin stripes at the bottom and the thick stripe at the top. The star described in the logo is placed in the thick striped of the shoulder yoke where the shoulders and sleeves meet. The pants are plain blue with the star on the lower right (the viewer's left) leg. Above the jersey is a white helmet and blue gloves.

The bottom away jersey is identical in design with an altered color hierarchy on the jersey and socks. The jersey is now blue with white numbers and letters outlined in white. The striping pattern is thin silver, thin white, thin blue, thick silver. The helmet is blue, matching the jersey and pants.

I always seem to memory hole how terrible the Cavaliers current uniforms are. They deserve a much better look, so I came up with something that hearkens back to the last time they were this young and exciting (the early Lebron years), with its own unique flair.
Two basketball uniforms for the Cleveland Cavaliers. On the left, the white home uniforms and on the right, the wine road uniforms. Both uniforms feature the same general design: The angled Cavaliers wordmark on the chest with the number 45 below (worn by Donovan Mitchell in real life), a wine side panel with a gold, blue, gold stripe that meets at a point below the armpit (mimicking the shape of a rapier), and a collar that features a wine, gold, blue, gold, wine pattern that matches the side panel design. The home uniform chest wordmark is wine with a gold outline and blue numbers similar to the design of the team's 2003-2010 set, while the road uniform features a blue wordmark outlined in gold with matching numbers. On the leg of each uniform is a stylized C logo matching the color of the wordmark.

As a #football fan and uniform nerd, I wanted to celebrate the return of the #nfl (two weeks late) with a series: The Lost History of the NFL, exploring what if every team existed prior to the merger. Each concept is a division matchup starting with the #Patriots and #Jets. (Explainer in Alt Text)
On a light gray background:

On the left, a New England Patriots uniform inspired by the 1930s Boston Shamrocks of the AFL (a different league from the 1960s AFL) and the revolutionary period flag of New England. The design features a red jersey, pants and helmet. The jersey features white sleeves, collar, and numbers, while the pants include white back of leg stripes. The helmet features a white front panel with a small green pine tree. The socks are white with a single red stripe.

On the right, a New York Jets uniform inspired by 1930s football aesthetics and Dartmouth University's football helmet stripes. This uniform is all white, with a green helmet. The jersey features green shoulder yokes and numbers while the pants have green back of pants stripes. The helmet features two curving white stripes on each side inspired by contrails of jet planes. The white socks feature 4 green stripes each.

Put together a #Houston Rockets logo and uniform concept. The logo and jerseys are heavily inspired by various #nasa #spaceflight patches and incorporates the Red/Yellow and Navy/Red color schemes worn during their 1994 and 1995 title runs. #art #nba #basketball
The image contains two panels:

Top Panel: On a navy blue background, round logo features a white rocket blasting off at a 45 degree angle to the right, extending beyond the bounds of the roundel. Yellow and red flame trails separated by navy blue outlines erupt from the back and curve outwards to meet the shape of the circle... Above the flames is a navy blue background with white dots of different sizes and an 8-pointed star depicting outer space. Below the circle are white letters that conform to the circle's curvature and read "HOUSTON ROCKETS".

Bottom Panel: On a light grey background, two basketball jerseys. On the left, home white with navy letters and on the right, road navy blue with white speckles and white letters. Both depict the rocket from the logo flying up the navy blue side panels with yellow and red trails that travel down the shorts and curve at the bottom. Both jerseys feature (from top to bottom) red/navy/yellow collars and the logo on the from of the waistband.

#birdsky has unexpectedly become one of my favorite parts of this site. There's so much variation in shape, form, and color of the various species, it's basically become an endless stream of inspiration. Below are concept logos for the common firecrest and the red-bellied woodpecker.
A logo depicting the head of a common firecrest facing to the right, emphasizing a more literal interpretation of "fire". The bird takes on the form of flames, its plumage curving and flowing into sharp points at the ends. Like the real firecrest the top of its head is bright orange. Its black beak and eyes are bordered by white plumage with the birds body a tannish gray. Finally, the back of the bird's head includes the yellow plumage found on the bird's neck and back area. The head is outlined in black stroke and a white keyline on a black background.A stylized logo depicting the head of a redbellied woodpecker facing the right. The head takes on a sleek, flowing design with minimal excess detail aside from a few sharp points to depict the bird's plumage. The bird's head consists of a primarily white face and throat with a red crest and neck area and dark brown eyes and beak (which has a white accent on the top half). The head is outlined in the same dark brown color and a white keyline and placed on a red background.

The head and script are outlined in sky blue and are sit upon a navy blue background.Three columns depicting a logo and jersey design for the Danish National Football (Soccer) Team

Column 1: A white regal lion on a red background wearing a crown and holding a football with its tail. The shape of the lion is such that the logo's negative space creates the shape of a heart.

Column 2: At the top is a red soccer uniform. The shirt features a collage of Danish symbols forming a nordic cross. The symbols are as follows from top to bottom: A Lego, a swan, Copenhagen row houses, a nordic rune reading "tanmaurk", yorick's skull, a heart, a viking helmet, the round tower, the rubjerg knube lighthouse, a crown, a danish krone (coin), a common seal, the little mermaid statue, the golden horn of galleus, and a kanelsnegle.

The bottom jersey is yellow with blue numbers and blue shorts. The chest features blue and red double stripes forming a nordic cross inspired by Denmark's jelling stones.

Column 3: Photorealistic depictions of the uniforms in column 2 on real players.A logo reading EURO SLAM on a black background. Euro is stacked on top of Slam, and each letter is designed to mimic rectangular carved stone slabs. Each letter covered in a colorful gradient inspired by street and graffiti art. The letter L is shattering and the vertical bar is crooked, overlapping the bottom of the letter U above it.A flat depiction of a design for Penn State Women's volleyball uniforms. The jersey is primarily white with a navy blue shoulder yoke design that runs down the sleeves and navy blue side panels. The chest features "PENN STATE" and the number 14 in navy blue. The back of the jersey features the number 14 with a sublimated collage of penn state symbols behind it. The shorts are plain navy blue. The jersey's right sleeve features the big ten conference logo and just under the back collar is the Penn State logo.

The collage on the back of the jersey features from bottom to top: The Penn State Lion Shrine, "We Are" in front of a keystone, 7 roses depicting the team's seven national championships under Russ Rose, two west gate stone lion heads, the curved rafters of rec hall, a large triangle symbolizing Mount Nittany
