One caveat on DeepSeek: a highly impressive technology, but one which does US tech better, rather than something entirely new Most Chinese unicorns are still local adaptations of US tech (for now)

Maybe my bias, but I don’t see this being a big deal at all. Unlike the painful manoeuvring around tax or public services, Labour made it very clear ahead of the election that it would prioritise growth and building things if elected. Labour has tungsten mandate for this.
