and just then, hj comes out of the bathroom, groggy and confused. phone in hand, he asks, “hwc, what did you do?” (sh absolutely ignores the way his heart tugs at how cute hj looks.) “um. honestly? i don’t know…” he says before glancing back to his own phone.

so the next day, when he goes to the kitchen to get some water and ibuprofen, his phone pings. what he’s met with is an email from his local civil registration service stating a date and time for his civil ceremony with one khj.
