An idea I like but haven't seen is the checker pattern on the ground in Sonic games being naturally occurring due to the magnetic field of the planet, so you could find the alignment of the cardinal directions based on them. #sonicthehedgehog

Thought experiment: what if someone put something into place for rich people to donate to specifically to redestribute wealth to everyone else, prioritizing lower income. So anyone whose cup overfloweth can make a donation. It wouldn't solve anything but I'd love to see who donated, if anyone did.
