For #fossilfriday here is a palate of the #ape Ekembo heseloni, still in situ. After removing, cleaning, and comparing, we realized it matched the lower dentition I found ten years earlier. We also found a petrosal and mandibular condyle that go with the set. #RusingaIsland is truly amazing!

Pro tip: if someone has two email addresses for different aspects of their job, this is meant to improve communication efficiency. Sending messages to both accounts does not improve response time, it makes things worse.

Hey media: "epicenter" is used for earthquakes because their origins are subterranean: it's the closest point on the surface. It does not mean center of devastation. Don't magnify the horror of a deadly outbreak or civil unrest by calling it's origin an epicenter. These things are horrible enough.
