You guys are awesome. I've gotten the answer. I think... I'm going to try it on this post. I think on Twitter you could turn off retweets globally. I don't think you could do it post by post but here apparently it is post by post which suits my needs.

It is too cold for me outside so I'm hanging out with the girl. Her cable management is really poor! I'm trying to decide what needs to be unplugged first. But this has to be fixed!

Got beef baby food for dinner!!! There was carrot baby food too but I was too smart to eat it. She did mix in chopped up tomato and I unfortunately did eat some of that by mistake.

I have learned firsthand there is no "other side" to justifying inhumane treatment. And for both trans folks and immigrants, there is almost no amount of personal effort, education, or skill that can totally overcome systemic discrimination and targeted government policies.

I am not trans, but the anti-trans playbook is pretty similar to the anti-immigrant playbook. I also know cisgender people who have been affected by anti-trans policies. My philosophy is that both immigrant rights and trans rights are human rights.

For the record, Girl just thought Harley was being very cute. Sometimes the turtles press themselves up against the wall or they put themselves cross wise in the log house. They seem to like being smushed up against something.... She did not think it was a jailbreak.

What do you think is happening in this picture? Girl got it totally wrong...

Normally there's a piece of sheet metal over this to make a shady nook. This nook takes up about about a quarter of the larger enclosure. It's very popular.

It was cold this morning, so I helped the Girl until it was warm enough to go outside. (Girl is reminded of the man on Twitter who commented on how her turtle was very mucky. Yes, yes he is. He's a turtle! He has spent all week playing in the mud and having a great time.)

Little Girl is hanging out in the flower pot. (For the past several weeks, all the ladies have been crammed into the same corner of the turtle pen. Often in a pile. For whatever reason today, they don't want to be near each other. The other two are each in different corners.)

I've been put back in my box. Apparently, i'm too cold now. And you know what there is a solution for that. Girl could turn on the heater in my office. But Girl is a hater. Girl says her room is 78 bc the AC doesn't touch her room. And she doesn't need to add a space heater (bc she hates Turtles).

We had a very big storm last night and apparently this fence was THE refuge for a lot of insects. Girl never really sees anything there except for a spider webs, but today there were lots of creatures on it. She saw this little green dude too.

We finished the last of the floating fish sticks today. Girl went to buy some more, and she discovered that it cost $35 a pound!!! (These aren't even the fancy ones made from salmon. These are made with fish meal of unidentified origin.) She says it would be cheaper just to buy us a filet mignon.
