Just finished The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. Pretty damn good. A touch too much explication at the end, but a wonderful read. Some great passages describing despair and nihilism. The humor and beautiful language refute nihilism while simultaneously describing it. #booksky

Just listened to long interview between Ezra Klein and Ta-Nehesi Coates. In NY Times. If you can access I strongly recommend it. Klein trying to find a political way forward, albeit awkwardly. Coates being his normal top shelf self. Can’t recommend it enough.
