“Heat is a hyper-local impact. It imperils people really differently on a neighborhood-by-neighborhood, and sometimes block-by-block, level,” says Cawley. “People who are impacted ought to have a pretty big say in how this is mitigated and dealt with.”

I’m convening a poster session this afternoon at #agu24 on imagination, I hope you’ll stop by. We posit that data and memory are two sides of the same coin - both accurate but incomplete pictures of reality. We typically privilege the former over the latter - to our own detriment.
