The scoreboard graphics are so bad. Unnecessary white outlines around the flags and jersey colors. Worse are the random colors borders. Orange & red for the Netherlands and lime & mauve for Japan. Why? Cyan background for the scores, again why? The 26 and tiny trophy add even more noise.

You can do some pretty neat things with Temporal. I mean you could mostly do this with Date, but you’d spend as much time fixing Date as would focusing on user experience and performance.

Why do only toaster users get to laugh and then enjoy? Also, seriously designers, don’t make your instructions “fun”. It’s 6am – I’m trying to get coffee made, a distracted kid dressed and an unwell spouse some meds. I don’t need to laugh and enjoy. I need heating instructions larger than 11 point

Three blocks north and a mile south and I get these speeds. I get a very reasonable 150 Mbps down and less reasonable 3 Mbps up, but I’d ditch my cable connection in a heartbeat for these speeds.

Does Sora understand UX better than some product teams? Look at Amtrak’s home screen on a mobile phone and compare it to a very simple output from Sora. Amtrak: you get an ad for a credit card and a customer story. Sora gets right to the point. Where are you going? When do you want to go?
