Unleashing Greatness for 180 years and now launching a Bluesky account! The first classes were held at the State Normal School, later known as the University at Albany, on December 18, 1844. The initial enrollment was 29 students, taught by two faculty members, David Page and George R. Perkins!

"School shootings have been a macabre routine in the United States, with 322 of them this year, according to the K-12 School Shooting Database website. That is the second highest total of any year since 1966, according to that database - topped only by last year's total of 349 such shootings."
