Just because the latest victim of this public prank is a minor does not make this right. There is a reason we have film permits for commercial productions. I wonder if the victims of the prank can loudly say “I do not consent for my likeness to be used for commercial purposes” and mess up the plan.

So if I read this correctly, a group of young men are filming a robot that accosts people on the street - who are not associated with the filming or event - and using the recording of the people’s reaction to make money, without the consent of the individuals on the street.

But theology is considered a professional degree under the rules, like doctors and dentists. So actually they are going to be fine. But not folks with MBAs. The degrees won’t get cheaper. Instead there will have to be private loans to make up the difference, at higher rates.

It’s even more quirky. Theology is considered a professional degree, like medicine or dentistry, and eligible for the professional graduate loan program. But a masters in business administration (MBA) is not.

This thread is chilling. Man was shot by ICE as he was delivering door dash, removed by ICE from a hospital, detained by ICE until his situation deteriorated, then manhandled by ICE as paralysis set in and he had to go back to the hospital. Straight up torture.

This bears repeating. GenX is vulnerable to measles because many only got one shot and have limited immunity. I was one of them until I asked my primary for a blood test. Doc immediately prescribed a vaccination when results came in.
