i like playing with a lower render scale and no mipmap; it makes textures shimmer in a way that i find beautiful. (mod is Better Than Adventure) #Minecraft

A world on the Minecraft Better Than Adventure mod, seen from very low. There are oddly-shaped floating islands in the distance, obscured by fog.

My house on that world. It has a sloped roof made of black basalt, plain wooden walls, blue double-doors, a square window above the doors, and two tall skinny windows off to either side. Oh my glob, I just realized that it's asymmetrical. Frick. I guess I have to go fix it. Anyway, there are flowers in front.

A large open cavern in a floating island far from the house. There are two waterfalls inside, and the far end is foggy. The nether portal I arrived in is visible.

The ledge opposite said cavern. There are pine trees on the ledge, and off in the fog, there is a higher ledge that connects by a pillar to a lower hill with more pine trees on it.

it turns out that old #minecraft PvE is actually pretty engaging. the player is only barely faster than the monsters, so the nuance comes from manipulating all the monsters you're fighting so they don't hit you.
