It's October! October means witches! This is Alaira from Witch Hat Atelier, she's real neat.

I liked Godzilla Minus One a lot. Kenji Noda was my favorite character. Drawing real people is hard.

Every time Godzilla tries to use his nuclear breath, Atheism-zilla is like, "Mm, no, I'm sorry, it just doesn't seem plausible," and suddenly it doesn't work

I realized I gotta figure out how to draw Teresa putting an arm through a sleeve

Four quick sketches. I think I like the one in the upper right the best.

063

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

More things I drew! Mostly underwear this time. And a little punching.

The file name is Teresa Sketches 18. Can I really call them sketches when they're this over-rendered, though?

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Teresa is really kind of a silly character.

"So I told the driver, 'if I carry the limousine halfway and I ride in it the rest of the way, that's fair, isn't it?'" They love her! She's funny and popular!

I AM THE GREAT SPIRIT OF ARTILLERY, TERESA.
I AM YOUR RECKONING.
MANY SHELLS HAVE DIED AT YOUR HAND, TERESA.
ARMOR PIERCING. HIGH EXPLOSIVE. SLAIN WITHOUT PITY OR MERCY.
THEIR ONLY WISH WAS TO DEFEND THEIR HOMELAND,
BUT NOW THAT HOPE IS GONE FOREVER!
TONIGHT YOU WILL BE VISITED BY THREE CALIBERS.
SEVENTY-FIVE MILLIMETER. ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE MILLIMETER. ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-FIVE MILLIWAIT STOP DON'T WAKE UP

More drawin'! She, uh, she's seen some stuff

There's this lady, see, and she's happy... and then she's UNhappy! Crazy. Also she has raspberry colored hair.

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Artist, quote a blonde. Do it. Someone on the internet said to do it so that means you have to do it

Ingrid from Fire Emblem is blonde (Bernie is there too).

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Drawing in the middle of the night, as you do

If I'm awake, Teresa has to be awake too!

I've never played a single Kirby game so I have no idea what her(?) deal is, but I like the design of this... armless... poncho fairy? Yeah, let's go with that.

The weird floating blue thing from Kirby and the World Beyond wants you to FREE YOUR MIND!

094

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Hey look, more weird-lookin' nightgowns!

I think the checkerboard pattern is my favorite.

0168

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Here's a boring nightgown I drew. Draw more interesting nightgowns, me.

Seriously, she's rich. I gotta give this some ornamentation or something.

263

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

This is Jinxhoshi, she is part Jinx from Teen Titans and part Mihoshi from Tenchi Muyo, she is my own original character so please do not steal

She is very lucky! People around her are not.

062

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Widened the shoulders a touch, just because Teresa isn't really Teresa unless she's shaped at least a little like a refrigerator.

042

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

There's no real story to this picture, I was just messing around and I thought it looked kind of neat.

Spoooooky dark border goop! Also glowing eyes. I like glowing eyes.

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

More fancy dresses! This is Wilhelmina Fisher, the protagonist...? of a webcomic I'm reading called Rain Girl. (She isn't the titular Rain Girl, but she acts pretty protagonistic)

She's in a fancy party dress she wore at a ball early in the comic. I haven't caught all the way up with it yet.

Watching more Downton Abbey, and I wish men in the era wore more varied clothes.

A bunch of quick sketches from Downton Abbey episodes.

I'm looking forward to the sequel, Upton Abbey.

052

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Right, that's enough of that. Please enjoy the completed saga of, uh... lady punching artillery shells! (I did not know you could put this many images onto a single post on Bluesky.)

3177

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

I have honed my "lady hits artillery shell and it explodes" skills to a razor's edge. I'm sure this will one day be useful in some way.

061

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

I started watching a little Downton Abbey. Haven't gotten very far, but the costuming is nice, and I'm looking forward to seeing Macklemore get that moped.

Just some quick sketches of Downton Abbey characters.

052

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Look, they have to do this three times, okay? The rule of threes is a THING

This time she *kicks* the artillery shell! Totally different.

This is a late birthday drawing, as most of my birthday drawings are. It's Akiha Tohno! She has troubling ideas about family.

Akiha how does your tie thing work? It doesn't wrap around anything, does it just stick to the front of your blouse somehow?

063

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

I mean I'm not gonna NOT draw Washu in her nice new clothes

Washu sez, "aren't I the cutest? (Say yes or I'll rewrite your genes)"

She'd probably change you back eventually, but you should still say yes to be polite

55826

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

You'll never guess what happens next!

She punches the shell. That's what happens next.

193

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

I haven't drawn anything in a little while. I almost remember how!

Comic! Teresa cracking her neck, also big gun!

Teresa wants to get shot! Don't try this at home.

1123

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

What she sees in her head vs. what other people see

"Tee hee, here I come~!" BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

I was seized with a strong urge to draw Lae'zel in the style of Final Fantasy Tactics.

Lae'zel, from Baldur's Gate 3. Because she doesn't have a nose, get it?!

3197

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

She isn't really the type to gloat about that sort of thing, normally she's very gracious about--Teresa no

"My hand *still* hasn't moved a centimeter, I'm afraid! Perhaps if you connected a few more bulldozers?"

072

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

I saw a guide to black tie by @miyuliart.bsky.social and I wanted to try it out. Tifa had a birthday a little while back, right? Here's some Tifas! So fancy.

"'Eggs & Chips?' Sir, this establishment only serves *caviar* on *artisanal flatbread.*" (Shakes cocktail shaker judgmentally)

3288

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Name your favorite alien There's really only one possible choice

062

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

This is a late birthday present for a friend. She's a vtuber! She's also purple. Don't judge her for that, you don't know how many vtubers are purple.

"Hello from hell, chat! Your queen of the netherworld is back, and tonight we're playing..."

083

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

Now she's on Namek! Look at those Dragonballs! Don't ask how she got them! It was completely voluntary and nonviolent!

Bulma as a Saiyan with some Namekian dragonballs that fell off the back of a space truck.

031

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

I had a lot of fun drawing Little Princess Bulma.

172

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

I was going to draw a follow up to this with Yamcha doing the Yamcha pose in a shattered bed and Nappa telling the story of his noble sacrifice, but it felt a bit dark.

Yamcha avoids death and saves the earth! Hooray!

140

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

I imagine her personality as a Saiyan isn't all that different on the surface. She just has no respect for the value of life, so any time she loses her temper, someone probably dies. Bulma doesn't lose her temper very often, right?

More Saiyan Bulma! And Nappa onscreen! Yay, Nappa!

1105

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 01/05/2026

I've drawn a lot of pictures of Bulma as a Saiyan. I think it probably started with the idea of her doing tech support on exploding scouters.

Bulma in Saiyan armor! Even her tail is green.

2186

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 30/04/2026

There were things that were bugging me about it, so I tweaked it some.

041

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 29/04/2026

I haven't drawn Bulma as a Saiyan in a while, and that shadow hand bra thing that's going around seemed like a good excuse.

Bulma doing that shadow hand bra thing, but she's also losing a beam struggle! ...Would you still call this the Gallick Gun, or would it need some kind of underwear pun name?

1155

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 27/04/2026

I couldn't decide between Chirico Cuvie or Juri Han, so I split the difference. Finished!

Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks, Chun Li from Street Fighter, Hexadecimal from Reboot, Two-Face from Batman, Washu from Tenchi Muyo, Sadayo Kawakami from Persona, Wirt from Over the Garden Wall, Spider-Man, and Chirico from VOTOMS.

253

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

I don't think I've ever had to draw someone cracking their neck before.

What's that crazy Teresa doing now? Why, she's standing in front of some kind of shooting range while people adjust some sort of machine! This can only lead to good things.

081

Maybe A Spider @maybeaspider.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

The universal human urge to do sick flips and swing from high places (It was this or James Bond)

170
