A friend introduced me to #Ongezellig and,,. MAN, I got bombarded with nostalgia. I could really see me at sixteen in Maya; the teenage angst and social uncomfortability,.,, Sad that most of the fanbase for this pilot are 4channers. Worth a watch, though the humor might not be for everyone.
![Royal Resignation
[Panel 1: Mymy has received a letter back from the Royal House of the Netherlands. She raises it up to the sky in excitement and with evil intent]
Mymy: Finally! I knew Princess Amelia would answer!
[Panel 2: Mymy gleefully reads the letter, with sinister plans in mind.]
Mymy: Belgium will finally be ours to rule! Together!!
[Panel 3: The letter, with the Dutch Coat of Arms at the bottom.]
Dear Mymy Schoppenboer.
We appreciate hearing from you and the Princess of Orange appreciates your words. However, the Princess is not looking for a spouse at this moment in time.
We appreciate your words of kindness.
[Panel 4: Mymy much later in the day sitting on her bed scrunched up and crying, as Maya and Coco both try to comfort her.]
Coco: I'm sure the right one's out there, Mymy!
Mymy (tearfully): Why won't someone just love me?
Maya (worried): Sheesh. First, Captain Koek, now the princess.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:yaellz6rqxadgtlkbx5prb2o/bafkreick334w3zla55ayghjgy2fcu72nfrthgomgs74rtxcsnzf6vdo3au)
