Each of the 27,360 #SecondLife regions is exactly 256m², or 65,536²m each. The main grid covers a massive amount of virtual territory:
Square Meters: 1,793,064,960 m²
Square Kilometers: 1,793.06 km²
Square Miles: 692.31 square miles

To put that into real-world perspective, the total land area of the Second Life main grid is roughly three times the size of the islands of Singapore, Oahu, or slightly larger than the city of London, UK.

22,200 of those regions are estimated to contain primarily user-created content. This constitutes roughly 80% to 81% of the entire main grid mass. Made by us, not damn machines.

Thats roughly 554 square miles of stuff we created. We should go look at it more. Nomads helps you do that.

Found my first scene render from when I was learning TrueSpace to do 3D product design back in 2003. The second pic is the first successful mesh upload I did during the mesh beta in #SecondLife, June ‎23, ‎2011, ‏‎4:08am. Good times.

My first 3D scene render from 2003 using TrueSpace 6, this image shows the corner of a room with a wood floor and a textured brown wall meeting a white wall. On the floor sit 4 perfect spheres, one each of chrome, silver, gold and brown leather. The rendering is done to illustrate the materials and lighting through reflections and shadows.

I do double batch size from the Nestle TollHouse trad recipe and then add a cup or two of walnuts, sometimes dried cranberries, dried blueberries. I bake them a bit hotter and longer than suggested, because I make them about golfball size, then shape them "tall." Makes 48 very thick, dense cookies.

I got a kei truck a few years back and the weird part to get used to was not driving on the right side, it was shifting with my left arm. I am left handed and it was still so odd to get used to, but I love it now.😁

Reading these love letters to 🍊💩🤡 and all I can think of is she is giving off massive "stage 5 clinger vibes." If she is lying for whatever reason(s), she presents a security risk. If she is truly that obsessed, then the risk she presents is considerably higher, becoming dangerous.

Another test of the aquarium in #Secondlife, this time with some rocks, plants and a couple of different fish, though they are just tests still as well. If you look closely, you can see the sun rays still, though not as well defined in this EEP setting as in my previous post. It changes a lot.
