Currently got a Ford Explorer on hire as my car (VW) is having repair work done. They really did go to the VW shop with a big trolley and just went crazy with the credit card. 😂 The stalks, drive selector, window switches, driver display, light control panel... Even the key is identical 😂

Out shopping earlier and I got asked by some KID behind the till (who quite frankly didn't look like he was old enough to be out without his parents permission), if I qualified for the over 60 discount. Don't realise how much something like Aircon can impact on your range in an EV. Went out to the car to do something and it estimated a current range of 257 miles. After sitting with the AC on for 5 mins or so, without going anywhere, the estimated range dropped to 232 miles. 😐

For about the last 20 mins there's been a Spitfire, or possibly a Hurricane, doing its fly around over the fields near my house. Usually see it at least once or twice a year. It sounds absolutely glorious. Love the sound of that engine!
