it's my favourite metroidvania - perfect blend between classic PoP, Metroid Dread, and Hollow Knight. Only drawbacks imo are that the story is good but not very engaging, and there are a couple Ubisoft Bugs ™️, even so, highly recommend 🙏

I haven't played it yet so can't speak on it so much - but it did feel like the 'arc' of the Metroid Prime was concluded in Corruption, so I dunno what their plans were at the time for continuation

I'll never forget exploring the Chozo Ruins with the subtle ambient theme, then acquiring the Morph Ball and the drum beat kicks in 🙌 Plus the Hall of the Elders music - I think I would just stand around immersed in the sound of that room

Saw this going around and wanted to try filling it in myself 🧐 Some aren't as concrete as others but it's what I settled on for now - was unsure what counted as a Zero Suit 😅 (And before I'm thrown into the Phazon pits, I don't hate Prime 2, just feel it's the lesser of the trilogy)

I guess if we're trying to be stringent with the suit's look through the games, maybe the Legendary Suit is something she put aside after ZM, considering she doesn't have it in SR. Or if Prime is canon then I guess she lost it when she bonked her head on the Orpheon 😭

Really? I think Sakamoto helmed ZM just like most of the 2d games (and Other M), haven't heard about involvement from Retro aside from the link-up stuff with Fusion. I know the manga was released as a tie-in as well, though as far as I'm aware it's not considered canon these days.

my first Metroid game was 2, gifted to me by a friend which still had his save file. I would sometimes load it up just to look at the Varia upgrade and wonder where and how I could get it - so I guess it was Legendary in my eyes 😆

in the manga her first suit was built/grown by Mother Brain I think, and then they give the Varia narrative importance to Gray Voice - though I believe it's still implied to be separate from the Legendary in that.
