It's rare to get a truly visceral experience of dramatic irony in real life, but something about listening to podcast episodes released between January and March of 2020 ties my guts into knots. There's just something about audio media in particular that cuts through for me, especially audiodramas.

Unfortunately, he knows exactly what he's doing - it's a stupidly effective tactic. He intentionally invokes the salute and claims plausible deniability. Bullies are talented at provoking outrage from targets and snickers from the in-group - a smirk that says "you can't prove I did anything wrong".

Just read the response from Costco to shareholders requesting it back down from DEI. It was glorious. If I could dispel one food-based myth, it’s that there’s such a thing as “healthy food” and “unhealthy food”. Some foods that are super healthy for one person are super unhealthy for others. Broccoli / kale = healthy for some folks, unhealthy for me. A burger = unhealthy for some, healthy for me

I *know* I have an allium intolerance, yet I *still* indulge in garlic and onion dishes every now and then - just in case it magically disappeared (or it was all in my head!). Nope! I am still VERY garlic intolerant! Not "kinda bloated" intolerant - more like "cheap wine hangover". Never worth it!

For folks who post videos on Instagram or TikTok, what is the average amount of time it takes to post already *finished* content? It usually takes me hour per post - sometimes two hours - just to work past the glitchiness of both. I'd love to be able to edit in-app captions on desktop, not phone.
