Over the last summer, unfinished doodle of Mina the Hollower, with her BIG glasses. 🤓 I wonder if I should finish it once a big illustration project is finished. 🤔 #MinatheHollower #doodling #sketching

Hey there… I’ve been struggling to start drawing, finishing any drawing, procrastinating for months… but I feel back to draw. I’m so, so, so sorry I may have let you down… 😞 #artmood #furryart #illustration

An anthropomorphic mouse waving to the viewer, looking sad, holding a sign written “I’m back (sorry…)”

You wonder what I’ve done during vacations? Well, aside visiting back Canada, I did many playthroughs of #Moss Book I & II, chasing every remaining platinum trophy, PS4 & PS5, both EU & NA regions. 🐭 I even became the fastest for one of platinum trophies! 🏆 (Moss II, PS5, EU)

I was busy traveling back to Canada for vacations and having fun, and now having a little trip in southern Sweden before heading home. Here a tiny #sketch I did on a Wacom MovinkPad, at @wacom.bsky.social’s booth at Närcon. You know, leaving a trace of my presence~ ✏️✨

Just like Moss II back to its PS4 release, I just became the FIRST platinum trophy earner for Moss: The Forgotten Relic on PS5! 🏆✨ Truly, Mouse is within me! 🐭 This non-VR port is fantastic, @PolyarcGames! Everyone must journey with Quill! ❤️ #mosstheforgottenrelic #moss

Yes, it’s true. I give in the best of me as illustrator, I want to better the world with good intentions. Sadly, I do not get the outcome I expect for every illustration posted. I won’t stop drawing, tho. It’s just frustrating to not see the labor of your intentions. #struggles

Too expensive. However, PHYSICAL DISCS are MUCH cheaper, don’t you think, Sony? 💿

Maxime Lessard 🏳️‍🌈 | Illustrator @maxiem0us3.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

Okay, it’s getting so frustrating. A simple picture of a Mina the Hollower pin blows up, great artist names like it… but never my illustrations receive such eyes, appreciations and love. I genuinely want to cry… 😭💔 #artists

If you didn’t get your hands on a VR headset, I HIGHLY recommend you to join Quill’s journey on 16th July, no VR required. A magical duology! 🐭✨

It’s still a grain of truth. The overly majority of sales on PS are digital. But it’s also an excuse for them to save money and have more control on your library.

I guess I better focus more time on my art. Something no corporation can take away from me!

000

Maxime Lessard 🏳️‍🌈 | Illustrator @maxiem0us3.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

As a long-time gamer, I still collect physical discs of games I may like to keep. This is true ownership. No corporation to take it away from you. This bomb might be the killing blow, or the massive hit, to make me buy games less. I guess it’s time to dedicate more time to art.

Fun fact: My profile pic that I use daily, my mouse avatar, has paint splash on him, but with subtly 6 distinct colors. I let you guess what it means. 😉

Maxime Lessard 🏳️‍🌈 | Illustrator @maxiem0us3.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

May I ask: Why does Maxi in ‘Mina the Hollower’ look similar to the way I draw my mice?! Without mentioning her name sounds exactly as my nickname?! Some contacts pointed it out. That must be pure coincidence. Either way, I take it as flattering, indirect honor. #minathehollower

All things come to an end, because I just reached the end of Mina the Hollower. 😞 But damn, what an amazing game! But this isn’t the end of my journey. More playthroughs to go like New Game+, Speedrun, No Bones Lost, etc. Gotta achieve all the feats! #MinatheHollower #gaming

[ 📝 Artist’s Note ] The fan illustration was made to be published on ‘Mina the Hollower’s initial release date, 31th October, on the same day as Halloween, so I chose such theme. Then the game was delayed, but I kept the idea due to Septemburg, a Halloween-y area in game.

Maxime Lessard 🏳️‍🌈 | Illustrator @maxiem0us3.bsky.social · 13/06/2026

After her passage to Septemburg, Mina found a hat at a bargain, tinkered a broom, then returned… as Mina the Witch! 🧹🧙‍♀️🎃 #MinatheHollower #fanart #illustration (As a proud backer, and an absolute mouse lover, 4 years were worth such the wait! An instant classic!)

An illustration of an anthropomorphic mouse wearing a red coat, and a witch hat, riding a tinkered broom, flying above a field like a witch, while swinging a whip mace.

I’m excited to Rayman’s return, despite being a 3D remake of the masterpiece original. However, I’m in contempt to the fact that physical disc won’t be truly physical, since it’ll require to connect to Ubisoft servers to even install the game, nulling the point of physical media.
