fortune's run, too. i'll just quote from my steam review because i think i kinda nailed it there.

"this is a messy, maximalist game. it's dense with systems, overwhelming visually, confusing and self-indulgent.

i bounced off it extremely hard, but came back a few months later and managed to get the feel for it. i can't quite say i've figured out how it wants to be played, with the tools and movement pushing me to go faster and more flamboyant, but the punishing enemy damage and accuracy pulling me towards a more modern, defensive, arguably boring playstyle. but getting those blaster headshots is still very satisfying.

i'm glad this exists, because it's really monopolising my thoughts right now. i don't think there's anything else quite like it."
