Since posting music is a waste of time, don’t listen to this song I released a couple of weeks ago.

Yes, nowadays there are a lot of music around. In addition to that, algorithms, basically, do that searching work for you. And now we have AI music as well.

And, as I've learned, you could embed videos from YouTube too.

Oh, sometimes the algorithms show me these old dorky videos from, like, 15 years ago, that people recorded just for fun. They look cozy in a sense.

Yeah, modern internet seems a bit bland. As I see in the documentaries, MySpace allowed you to express yourself.

Where do you look for new bands now? And is it better than in MySpace era?

I'm interested in 2000s internet culture. It's a strange thing: I feel somewhat nostalgic about MySpace, even though I was too young to experience it. Have you used MySpace? Share your experience! 💻 #nostalgic #myspace #social

Musicians of #Bluesky, any thoughts on FX-sequence for mixing the track? As I see, the thing is: 1)Gate 2)Subt. EQ (maybe EQ with 4 bands) 3)Comp, De-Esser 4)Add. EQ (maybe EQ with 7-12 bands or more) 5)Chorus, Delay, Reverb 6)Limiter Am I missing smth? Correct me, if I'm wrong. #MusicSky #Music

7) Fender Stratocaster became one of the integral parts in music history. The hesitant beginnings did not define the current status of this model. This guitar is a result of a dialogue between technical genius and human listening.

Max_Ginnel @maxginnel.bsky.social · 21/09/2026
6) Yet another icon who helped to shape the Fender Strat's popularity was Jimi Hendrix, who, as a matter of fact, made this guitar a part of himself. Some other legends who formed the legacy of this model were Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Frusciante and many many more.

Max_Ginnel @maxginnel.bsky.social · 21/09/2026
5) However, Strat did not convince many potential buyers from the start, so it took some years before this model established itself among musicians. Buddy Holly was one of the first to make Strat his main guitar, and he put it in the spotlight with his hit “Peggy Sue.”

4) A three-way selector switch allowed the musician to select a pickup. Later, it was changed to a five-way switch, that allowed guitarists to enrich their sound.

Max_Ginnel @maxginnel.bsky.social · 21/09/2026
3)The Strat had 3 key features: a) A double cutaway design with beveled edges. b) The Fender engineered “tremolo” unit built into the floating bridge. c) The 1st solid-body guitar to be fitted with 3 pickups. d) A one-piece maple neck, bolted to the body and therefore easy to replace or repair.

2) The Fender Stratocaster, or simply ‘Strat’, became a cultural and technological phenomenon in the course of electric guitar history. It was designed by Leo Fender, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares in 1954. To this day, its been manufactured by the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation.

5) Earlier, Gibson turned down 'The Log,' made by Les Paul, but in 1950 the company signed the guitar engineer and adopted his design. During his period at Gibson, Les Paul went through 50–60 prototypes before he felt happy with his new guitar invention.

4) McCarty gave Les Paul a consultant role at Gibson company. By that time, Les Paul had already been a famous guitar innovator known for constantly seeking a better guitar design.

3) The origin of the Les Paul model lies in the collaboration between Gibson Guitar Corporation and the musician and inventor Les Paul. In the early 1950s, electric guitars became a real thing, and the popularity of the Fender Telecaster showed that. Gibson's president, Ted McCarty, knew what to do.

Fun fact: some of them had no name on the headstock at all, which is why collectors and enthusiasts started calling them "Nocasters."
