I made this fun bento box style promo image for DDDS, my playing and capturing app for macOS and modded 3DS consoles. Hope you'll give it a look if you fall inside the same tiny portion of the 3DS capture Venn Diagram that I reside inside. maxfrequency.net/ddds/

A bento box promotional image for the 3DS capture application DDDS. Features displayed are "Big Screen Mode," "DS & GBA Scaling," "Built for macOS," "4K Scaling," "WYSIWYG Layout Designer," "Native Capture Tools," and "Custom Overlays" with a "DDDS" window in the center.

My next video essay—The Spirit of Super Mario Galaxy—is going live on Monday February 17, 2025 at 12:00 PM EST. Can't wait for you all to check it out. Okay, I can wait until Monday, but no longer than that!

I had a killer two hour editing session this morning on my next video essay. I think I can have this sucked done within the next two weeks. 👀 Also, changed the name slightly—The Spirit of Super Mario Galaxy—at least that's the new name for now. 😅

More in the next newsletter, but I wanted to just say that the first draft of my next essay – The Spirit of a Galaxy Game – is finally complete. Started ripping through with my mighty maroon pen this afternoon. 7/15 pages down.
