Think the next thing I want to do with my game (talking about Maya's big adventure) is to host some kind of level making competition for it. Feel like that'd be a great way to both stress test the level editor and figure out how to make fun levels. Actually hosting such a thing scares me though lol

I think uh... maybe my least favorite thing about game dev is refactoring old code. Feels like you're taking something that kinda works, and just taking a giant wrecking ball to smash it up. I hate it and I'm always scared to do it. But I know it needs to be done to build something better.

Interesting trend I noticed in regard to how different types of people post: When a real artist posts their work, there tends to be a lot of variety. Drawing the same thing over and over gets boring, so they'll mix it up to keep things fun even if they tend to stick to one character or subject.
