Just done a quick check and I only need to upload 47 more videos and I'll have published a minimum of 1 Full length VR video EVERY SINGLE DAY for THREE YEARS! #promotingvr

I know it's still only June, but Questcraft will be heading into August with added Ancient Debris!

Yesterday whilst playing Minecraft in VR (via Questcraft) a Bee flew right past my head and it emphasised to me just how amazing VR really is, something you just cannot put into words!

My 'unprofessional' playthrough of Into the Radius 2 resumes from episode 3 on the 21st June 2025...

In just over a weeks time, episodes of a new series start appearing on my channel, as my favourite ever game gets played again... Only this time in full standalone VR!

010

Max Cheesefist @maxcheesefist.bsky.social · 02/06/2025

Beginning 14th June on my channel, my best ever playthrough of any game to date...

It's not very often a Quest 3 in-game screenshot makes it's way to being my background, but this from Golf+ at TPC Sawgrass is gorgeous.

So sad right now, Vertigo Remastered ran perfectly on my system, Vertigo 2 ran like a dream (little bit of stuttering during that final battle), but Vertigo 2: Into the Aether DLC is just a hideous stuttering, lagging, crashing mess... I hate my laptop 🥺

I spent most of yesterday (and the day before as well actually), trying to get a 15 year old dead hard drive to spring back to life and explained how I was successful by chipping lumps off of it. This is the reason I went to all that trouble.

Tune in to my channel tomorrow morning for the beginning of the longest, whiniest and most chaotic playthrough of the excellent Alien: Rogue Incursion on Quest 3.

Max Cheesefist @maxcheesefist.bsky.social · 05/04/2025

Before the next series/playthrough starts on my channel on Monday, tomorrow will see the first two videos of a new occasional series looking at Pinball in VR...

Won't be buying Wanderer: Fragments of Fate until it has had sufficient patches to actually function as advertised, I refuse to get burned again paying for unfinished games and being an unpaid playtester. For 46 Euros I want 100% confirmation that the game has NO ISSUES!

Max Cheesefist @maxcheesefist.bsky.social · 26/03/2025

Alien: Rogue Incursion on the Quest 3, I'm now about two and a half hours in and can only say that the last game to make me feel this much perpetually on-edge was Propagation: Paradise Hotel... The tension that @Survios have built into this game is top-notch!

000

Max Cheesefist @maxcheesefist.bsky.social · 25/03/2025

Sticking to my guns and not buying Quest games when they first get released anymore, I took the plunge and purchased Alien: Rogue Incursion today, because it has, up to now, had two subsequent patches! First 40 minutes, game looks and plays great... 😁

The conclusion to Return to Castle Wolfenstein was reached yesterday on my channel, so that means I embark on another adventure today... Staying in classic games ported into VR territory, here's episode one of Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast.

With every update the Quest 3 gets more and more complicated to actually just power off... Hold a button, click an option, click another option, oh wait installing updates, click to close and power off, headset goes back to main menu... repeat all the above steps! @MetaQuestVR

Just to keep those that are interested in the loop, I have over the last few months strayed away from VR (not completely, obviously) and have become involved with Magic the Gathering, due to this, I feel a 'Shitty Kitchen' coming on with some of my thoughts and opinions!

Fully appreciate that there have been significant updates between me recording these and them dropping onto my channel, but here's episode two of my lighthearted look at Grimlord on standalone.

People have said that you shouldn't try to play/learn Commander as your very first introduction to MTG, then add to that playing with/against strangers where there is a considerable language barrier... That's what i did on Tuesday and I'm going back next week 🤣

Had a day out today, went down to Saarbrücken and found a terrific little shop, which I suppose I can now call my 'Local Game Store'... Going back again on Tuesday to hopefully die and learn!

Feeling much better I quickly jumped on this 'just released' short, interactive, story-driven adventure, which has been supposedly designed to showcase the graphical power of the Quest 3/3S... I'll leave that up to you, as to whether it achieves that lofty claim or not.
