I guess handing over $368 billion for submarines that will probably never arrive, signing up to whatever the hell US foreign policy is, and sucking up doesn't work. I reckon it's time we start acting like an independent country, not a vassal state of America.

First Nations people make up 3% of Aus's population but 28% of people accessing homelessness services. What sort of housing system is it that sees First Nations people homeless on their own land? It's well past time to end the chronic underfunding of First Nations housing.

In the short term we won’t solve this crisis without limits on rent increases. Right now landlords can put up the rent by however much they like and that needs to change immediately.

Gaza is in rubble because Israel has carried out a genocide. During that time Australia continued to engage in two way arms trade with Israel and refused to sanction them despite clear evidence of war crimes. The least we can do now is oppose Trump’s proposal for ethnic cleansing
