I had an incident like that: I work in education and it was being used to look at a spreadsheet with course data. After the 5th row it started inventing classes. If you didn’t know the curriculum, you would have had zero idea it was busted, but it LOOKED LIKE it saved time.

I think there’s a case that one can be against the carceral system in general, but recognize exceptional circumstance when it comes to those who abuse the power of the state. For example, supporting the Nuremberg trials, or believing failure to “punish” the Confederates was historically disastrous.

I get your perspective. IMO though the offense got them into the mess with a legit bad play and the defense got a chance to do better. So they stepped up and made a great play. That WAS them doing better. Getting it erased and losing the game because of a bad call erased the team’s redemption.
