My little buddy. Downy woodpecker. I need her to stop trying to eat my house, though.

The bird is small. Her feathers are black and white. She's got a white belly and chin. Her wings are black with white spots. She's got a sharp pointy beak, which is drawn back, ready to tap at the tree to find dinner.

She is on the side of a tall, relatively thin tree stump. All the main branches have been removed. Above her is a suet feeder, which she is steadfastly ignoring. Behind her there is a weathered white picket fence with another birdfeeder, which is empty.

This is the Butthead Brigade! They are perfect and pure.

This is Mr. Sharkie, the newest member of the cadre. He's a gray and white cat, wearing a shark costume. He's got a gray triangle of fur above his nose and between his eyes. There's another spot of gray fur on his chin, like an off-center goatee. He's standing in front of a bookcase. He's looking curiously at the camera. In front of him is a crinkly cat tunnel that all the cats pretty much ignore.

This is Momo, the middle child. She is a big supporter of LGBT+ rights. She's a gray tabby cat with big, sweet green eyes. She's sitting on a table, which she knows is not allowed. She looks very adorable and it is clear she knows it. Behind her is a pride nutcracker. Further behind her, the rest of the apartment is visible- bedroom, TV, patio doors.

This is the eldest of the Brigade. He's a void kitty, which vivid yellow eyes. He's calm, for once, and is looking at the camera. His ears are up and pointed forward. He's sitting on the arm of the couch. Behind him, and out of focus, are a christmas tree and a cat tree.

Pottery report! I like this tiny bowl. I just didn't get the effect with the glaze that I wanted. The test tiles are what I was going for. Refiring this one for sure.

A small pot sits on a banding wheel. The color is an earthy, mossy, dirty green. There are a few streaks of light blue.

Same pot as the previous picture, except it has been spun around to show more of the turquoise streaks that were intended.

Three test tiles are sitting on a banding wheel. The tiles are straps of clay about an inch wide that have been folded so they stand upright like a token in a board game. They all have patterns engraved in them to highlight the way a glaze looks over various textures. All three tiles ha e a different clay body, but the same glaze. It looks different on each tile. The darker clay makes the glaze look darker. The lightest clay body makes the thinnest areas of glaze look almost transparent. All of them have a turquoise color with the thicker areas of glaze looking misty or foggy.

Holiday plans include playing Final Girl and baking cookies. I have 2 holiday-themed stories to play through.

Then there is a second diorama of an alleyway with a bunch of magical shops (it is, unfortunately Potter-inspired, but it NOT something that put money in *her* pocket). And finally, there is a placard with hot pink framing that says "The horrors persist, but so do I" in black Gothic lettering.
