Sunday was the 800th anniversary of the death of St Francis, so naturally we had the Blessing of the Animals, or, as I like to call it, Take Your Dog to Church Day. In recent years, many people have chosen to get their animals blessed by proxy, usually by pulling up a photo on their phone. 1/2
