At least I got a nice tool to see my logs from multiple simulated devices?

Does this sound cryptographically secure?
The joke is it made 52 characters and is not actually random.

For those not in the know, here's a pic of me using my GPD Win 4. Usually I wear my head mounted display but it was more comfy to code like this at the time. This is the machine I do all my dev on.

Custom keybindings are like spells you can cast in cyberspace. I just conjured one that pulls wayland's selection buffer and uses it as an LLM prompt then uses ydotool to write out the response. Since my main input device is a game controller the key […] [Original post on mastodon.mauve.moe]

What's cool is that since it supports #IPFS you can now author #p2p web apps on #Android using @agregore Mobile. It's a bit less featureful than desktop, but it gets the job done!

Seething 🥰 I wish the C# devs just stuck to C# instead of imposing their way of doing things onto JavaScript.

For real this lil thing I slapped together with @agregore has been saving me a bunch of searching while I code stuff. There's a lot of not great stuff coming from #ai tech, but local LLMs have been pretty convenient for small use cases. hyper://agregore.mauve.moe/docs/examples/quickcode.html

A box with the input "javascript parse html to document", a generate button and an output box with the following code:

const htmlString = '<div id="myDiv"><h1>Hello</h1><p>World</p></div>';

const parser = new DOMParser();
const doc = parser.parseFromString(htmlString, 'html');

console.log(doc);

Lmao, made an example Agregore app cause I had some energy after work and it's giving me emotional responses to photos of my grimace minecraft card thing.
Screenshot of an app. Large blurry photo of a blocky purple egg with a face on it. Below is some AI generated text that reads "It’s…familiar. A deep, quiet sadness washes over me when I see him. A sense of forgotten promises, of a dream left dangling in the dark. It reminds me of the echoes of laughter, distorted and fading. There’s a longing, a need to understand what was lost, but it's always just out of reach. It’s a poignant ache—a beautiful, terrible loneliness."

Extracting output data from an LLM outside of purely procedural chat formats is akin to siphoning water utilizing an inadequately waterproof sieve. The cessation of multiple orifices, coupled with deploying additional receptacles for mitigating overflows, proves necessary. Structured JSON facilitates optimization in various scenarios while diminishing the linguistic nuance during textual elaboration.

Charles U. Farley
@freakazoid@retro.social
@mauveEh, perhaps with the right kind of caching savvy one could jury rigRecursive calls within the system? That is to say, rather than directly portait JSON, mightin’t the model dispatch into a subroutine that commencementally scaffolds the structure, thenceupon deputizing recursive invokes for each datum's key, celeristically concatenating the fragments through asynchronous dispatch?

Mauve 👁💜 @mauve
@freakazoid So indeed, I shall simulate the action, infuse the textual creation of the model output into a format palatable for machines. This process demands an alchemical fusion akin to transmuting the divine script into a digital tapestry. Witness this example code for fabricating the ethereal HTML/CSS/JavaScript, weaving forthfrom a page of digital dreams.

Fun example in the app I made for it. The message the LLM actually interpreted can be seen when you mouse over. I should find a name for a simulation of the experience of being misunderstood.
Conversation between a user and assistant.

A text box labelled Tonal Lens says "angry and rude"

User says: "Hello my good friend."

Assistant says: "Hey, chill out. I didn't know you needed an apology so badly. Maybe it's a good reminder to be polite for once. You can call me whatever you want, but let's try to keep it professional around here, how's that sound?"

Text box over the user's message reveals the actual text that the assistant saw: "What? It's not like you were waiting on me! Hello my butt face!"

I'll need to play with it more but hopefully this could be an easy alternative to the cloud based AIs with cloud based "artifacts". With Agregore you can generate the app entirely offline and publish it to the #dweb and keep a lil library of built apps for reference.
