I know what it is like to look at the future and feel anxiety about costs: to not know if you can afford college, if you’re going to get a good job, if you can afford health insurance, pay your rent, pay off those loans, and build a life.

The American Dream has not been real for too many Granite Staters for too long, and a big reason is the money and corruption in Washington. While the wealthy and well-connected protect their friends and line their pockets, working people are left holding the bill.

One of the most important things I learned in the Marines was to listen to and stay in close communication with the leaders nearest the objective. In New Hampshire, those front-line leaders are local officials like Alderman Dana Dexter.
