#Tigers 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position again tonight. That's a situation that has to be addressed at some point because you can't play winning baseball without scoring baserunners on a consistent basis. (Although TTBDNS has been a tradition for decades.)

I'm not really sure what A.J. Hinch is trying to prove by sending Finnegan out there again. I get trying to get him a positive result but he tosses BP fastballs every time he's on the mound. Just let him rest and pitch for somebody else in 2027.

My grandfather, born in 1889, went to Navin Field before the outfield bleachers were double-decked. My father, born in 1935, still calls it Briggs Stadium. My first game was 1965, and the place was magical, with the original wooden seats. It had an intimacy that's impossible to duplicate.
