My sleeping schedule has been a Mess for a few weeks now and I've been mostly gaming, I hope I find my art inspiration again soon.

Oof didn't quite reach my 30 artfight attack goal but I'm happy I managed to revenge everyone who attacked me! theres still a little time so maybe I'll do some light doodles still.

Some serval doodles from various photo references cause I wanna design a serval character for my partner ✨love these lanky cats, they looks so silly and are so expressive.

I love cat characters but drawing some canines during this artfight has awoken the weird wolf kid in me... maybe I need to create some canine characters too.

Having a lot of fun with artfight! Thankfully not feeling too much pressure with my art and just enjoying my time drawing silly things for people.

It almost slipped my mind that its July and Artfight starts. Unfortunately I caught a nasty case of some kind of flu and didn't have the energy to draw profiles for more characters :(

Ended up joining Team Comedy for this year's artfight. Mostly cause I love oranges and yellows, but it also just felt right.

I love this time of the year when its warm and light outside but there are no mosquitos (yet.....). My skin has become super sensitive to sun though cause of reasons and burns easily, I keep forgetting to put sunscreen on ahh,,,

Just swimming by to say hello.

Ink painting of a sea lion with their head above water. Below water their body is very inky and blurry.

Photo of a left hand holding a rectangular sticker. The sticker is a matte painting of an orange cat shaped like a shrimp.

Working on a companion animation to "The Accident" animation I did. I like altering between normal videos and shorts!

I've been drawing a lot again! I'm especially happy about how this animation turned out from a few days ago: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNHl...

Oh hey finally bsky works again

Mau @maukuva.bsky.social · 11/04/2026

I've noticed when working on these animation projects that I can work for hours and hours because I want to do nothing else but work on it, but at some point the quality starts to suffer and I need to pry myself from working and do something else.

Working on another short PMV for a feline oc, I'm so excited about it though it touches personal fears too. But I've always loved pouring my emotions into art as a form of expression.

Today I'm gonna animate!! So much energy, so little time to do everything creative I want.

I've been drawing so much in the past days, I'm so happy and glad of being full of energy for art again!

I want to take part in Artfight this year...! I can't wait, I need to get my OC profiles ready though.

Deciding that I myself am my main audience when it comes to my art has boosted my creativity a lot. If someone else finds joy in it thats great, but as long as I do, thats most important. Creating things for yourself is so valuable.

I want to start learning more about animation and doing character PMVs! Decided to start with something short and simple, featuring one of my mascots: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vOY...

I just want all artists to succeed and make cool shit. I want a world where all artists could just make so much art that every story can find its audience and every audience can find its story. I just want to live in a world where we can all bask in the joy of getting to make and participate in art.

Choosing to stop chasing trends and numbers and just drawing whatever brings me joy has been so freeing. Anyway here's little space cat Asta.
