Feeling good about the state of the next video right now. I'm thinking it goes up either tomorrow or Wednesday unless something goes haywire.

Some dog movie from the late 80/early 90s scared me so bad when a dude got caught in a bear trap we had to leave the theater. I don't remember this but my parents do. The one I actually remember is that little kids scary picture book with the Jenny with the Green Ribbon story. 👻

The translation team for A Bouquet of Madness has agreed to a short interview where they will be answering some questions about the game and the translation process for all you behind the scenes lovers. I will be doing amateur journalism on an upcoming Otome Beat episode.

The next Otobeat is not making it out this week. I lost a ton of time due to personal things getting in the way. Tonight was supposed to be an opportunity to dig into the video editing but my internet went down. And my software requires internet because of cloud integration. 😩

Grave Seasons has a new release date. March 9 2027. As much as I’ve been looking forward to this one, I’ve been concerned about the state of the game considering they decided against releasing the demo and dropped the first planned launch date.

Funny things are happening on the Steam Forums. Gun and Ball Bros are accusing Dressmaker of botting its success because ... get this... it had four times the concurrent players as GTA 5. Yeah, total mystery why a non-shovelware fashion game outperformed a decade old game on release week.

This has been a tough one but I’m done with a new script. I’ll probably spent the evening tightening it up. Had hoped to get the video done before the month was over but I had writer’s block on this for so long. I’ll probably get it done before the end of the week.

Now for something completely different. I took a crack at Saber's dress from Fate/Stay Night. I think I did pretty good. The mercury silk really gave the armored parts that metallic look.

Back on it with more otome heroine inspired looks created in Dressmaker. Today I made approximations of Cardia's and Ceres's dresses. I think I got a lot closer with Ceres' design wise. I was shocked her dress is actually brown per official artwork but looks black because of the game's lighting.

The Dressmaker game that came out this week is really cool. After getting most of the fabrics and dress styles unlocked I tried to recreate some otome game heroine looks. I feel like a got reasonably with close on Hibari and Chizuru's outfits.

My Switch 2 came in today. I got it set up but instead of playing Fire Emblem, I started the Donkey Kong game. It has that toy box quality the best Nintendo games all have. Totally see why everyone went crazy for it last year.

I don't know who needs to hear this but the reason people might like the insane red flag otome game LI over the the milder red flag LI is because the extreme misbehavior is so unrealistic to most people it registers in the same way Darth Vader does. Most people who find Darth cool wouldn't like

I think I got what is going to be my all time favorite YT comment. In the last OtoBeat, I made a off-hand statement that Toma has weird ideas about pet care. Because of the dog cage. Well, someone with a clear problem with humor wrote me an in entire essay furious that I associated the good name

New OtoBeat episode. This is one is going to be a barn burner. I'm going over six of the worst love interests I've encountered while playing these games and why they belong in a dumpster. We've got cheating, mommy issues, and arson to name a few! It's a buffet of bad husbando behavior.

Nuts! My Eerie Liar, the cozy interior design game about a down bad vampire and his captive bride, has been pushed back to 2027. I checked the Steam page since we are already in Q3 of the year, and saw the release date had been updated. Let'em cook I guess. I want this game to be good.

While I'm sad MTA Evershine got pushed back to next year, the way this series has evolved has been striking. Portia was janky but it had the juice. Sandrock was incredible. This looks like another huge leap forward.
