Our future with Europe deserves ambition. EU Ambassador Jukka Salovaara’s words are a welcome reminder of the importance of the UK–EU relationship. Let’s build on that partnership with easier trade, more opportunities for young people and a stronger voice in our shared European future.

President Macron, "Brexit has cost the UK 8% of GDP.. Brexit is the biggest lie of the last 30 years" My view: Brexit was sold as a route to greater prosperity: less bureaucracy, more money, new trade opportunities Instead, Britain put new barriers between itself and its largest trading market.

Russians are not bothered by the fact that they are killing their neighbors. What concerns them is gasoline and having enough money for vodka. For the wealthier ones - they just want planes to keep flying and visas to be granted.

New figures by the Bank of England demonstrate how much of a negative impact Brexit has had on the UK economy. Trade weakness combined with uncertainty has decreased our GDP, Investment, Employment, and Productivity, resulting in a negative decline for the UK compared to our European neighbours.
A combination of micro and macro estimates suggest that the Brexit process has reduced UK GDP by 6-8%, Investment by 12-18%, Employment by 3-4% and Productivity by 3-4%. Bank of England.
