Getting ready for RSA next week. As a native Texan I do look forward to some bbq and tacos. However, I’m most excited for Texas’ true cuisine. The red-lettered (typically Korean owned) donut shop. I’ll take an hour out of every morning to uber for these.

My favorite thing about the @standupforscience.bsky.social map is that the French people obviously maintain their solidarity and know the history of our joint venture in revolution. Those in power in the U.S. would have us forget this, but I ’ll be Santa Fe tomorrow, how’s about you?

This one is not an album but if you have the opportunity to see Ken Pomeroy live, drop whatever you think is important and do it. Watched her keep the whole rooms jaw on the floor for 45 minutes when she opened with just herself, her guitar, and someone on an electric.

Good Looks: Lived Here For A While. This band is just fucking awesome. And the last 3 tracks on this record are among the best consecutive tracks I’ve heard on an album.
