So my little publishing venture Cambrian Comics has a submissions policy, and I wanted to take a moment to show off the four inaugural books that we're going to be publishing this year! We've got some cool books by even better creators and more info is coming! Covers are below!

She was my biggest source for learning about life in post revolution Iran and one of the most cited names in every "no really, comics are more than just superhero power fantasies for young boys" conversation that I've ever had. Thank you Madame Satrapi, your work will continue to inspire.

Just wrapped up an amazing Las Vegas Comic Con! It was THE best convention I've ever attended, and Spider-Man even showed up! He and Aunt May (who took the picture) were kind enough to purchase some of our books, and I'm proud to say that they're now fans! #comicsky #comicbook #superhero #comics

So I'm traveling to a con and I decided to start reading the Emily Wilson translation of the Odyssey. Right as I'm at the first time Poseidon, Master of Earthquakes, decides to ruin Odysseus' journey with a storm the plane hits a massive patch of turbulence. Oh cruel and capricious Fates!

A few months ago I printed the first issue of GUARDIANS of the LAST DRAGON. It was surreal to actually hold in my hand what's been in my head for so long in a physical little book. With some time and patience, I will print enough of these to share with as many people who will read em #art #comics

Alan Moore created a paradigm shift in American comic book storytelling that could have been so great. He helped bring more mature and meaningful ideas and themes into superhero comics in a time when they were sorely needed. Unfortunately, too many people took the wrong lessons from his work.

#Comics folks, I need you to pull up to this one. The world sucks right now, and we have the opportunity to do a little bit of good for a displaced and marginalized member of our community. Please join me in supporting this KS campaign! www.kickstarter.com/projects/den...

If you're somebody who values supporting marginalized voices in comics, here's your chance to put your money where your values are!

The writer of this RINGO NOM’D INDIE COMIC (and a very dear friend of mine) is a Syrian Refugee who has been through more continuous hardships than I have space to list here; constantly navigating visa applications, unstable living conditions, predatory landlords (limited options as a refugee).

Anas just wants to make comics and live a normal life like what so many of us take for granted. Backing this campaign will help Anas to take the next step toward freedom and autonomy, helping to fund a move to another country with more stable employment options. This is truly one of the most important comics purchases you will ever make.

Middle Eastern and North African comics creators are some of the most underrepresented in the comics industry of the western world. Anas isn’t running a GoFundMe to support this move, and is not asking for charity. Simply, Anas is using their talent for storytelling, along with Dennis’ gorgeous art, to offer you a beautiful experience in the comics medium, that also goes toward funding a better life for Anas.

I’m so proud of Anas, and humbled by their experiences and perseverance. I would like to see Anas’ Dream realized, and I’d love to see this community help to make that happen. Please join me in pledging to the Etheres Kickstarter campaign! (link below).
