respectfully disagree, I found her to be repetitive and overabundant with tips and solutions even up to the end of the game. doesn't change my final thoughts on Onimusha, though, the game fucking rules.

Onimusha rips very hard but man it really suffers from “Focus, M” syndrome. Like yes I know I need to shoot an arrow at that out of reach lock through this giant hole in the wall, thanks.

Found a relic at my Dad’s house. My original copy of Monkey Island with everything in it. Haven’t seen this thing since like 1990?

Iran has put up with so much this World Cup. They've been treated like they aren't humans; they've been put through a wringer that no other country has, and fought back every time. God....

actually impressed with how in-tune they are with the FFXI community, between the little lines the shades in Jeuno say and especially Prishe mentioning "getting a better deal from the merchants outside of town". that's really only something you know by interacting with the FFXI player base.

Okay I just heard from a peer that they're getting rid of the 2-minute meta and that there's gonna be main tanks and off-tanks now. Excuse me while I put foot in mouth (let's be real though I wasn't gonna miss that Eva collab for shit)

Matt V @mattvat.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

I was out for most of the day so I missed it, but hearing that gives me hope! I'll definitely check it out.

definitely interested in Evercold, but reserving my excitement until they reveal more info on how they're changing up gameplay, as currently it seems like they're just further streamlining everything. not necessarily a bad thing, but I'm desperate for more functional job identity to return.

Matt V @mattvat.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

oh they REALLY want me to resub (it's working)

I can understand why they changed the implant icons for better visual clarity but like.. these looks like styrofoam cut outs I would use if I were cosplaying a chip mod

VILE: Exhumed may be banned for sale, but I refuse to let that stop people from playing the game. It’s now available, for free, at WWW.VILEISBANNED.COM Please share the site, share the game, and fuck anyone who tries to control storytelling and expression.

I will also be leaving Waypoint. I have a couple obligations to PR folks I want to fulfill. After that, I'm done. I can't sit back and watch Savage Ventures silence Ana and stifle actual journalism out of fear of being "too controversial".

When I was 11 years old, I emailed Space Ghost to tell him how much I loved him and the "Curses" episode where he eats Moby's head. He emailed me back with a simple "Glad you dug the episode, citizen." I like to think that was George Lowe, Space Ghost himself, who wrote that email. Rest in Peace :(
